We are starting a series about Clean Scent Fragrances, why they matter to us and why they should matter to you, how this relates to a SDS (Safety Data Sheet) and what all of that information means. Our references are OSHA.gov (the Occupational Safety and Health Administration). It is a division of the Department of Labor and is responsible for the creating and governing of the SDS that is so critical to us makers. We also will be referencing OEHHA.CA.gov (the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment). They are responsible for the laws and regulations regarding the Prop 65 (Proposition 65) initiative that began in 1986 as well as maintaining the list of over 900 chemicals that are on that list. Already overwhelmed? I know we were!
